When it rains it pours
I thought my next entry would be about getting to Cincinnati (more or less) unscathed, but I got an SMS from hubby 5 AM EST that my mom was rushed to the ER today. Argh. She's conscious and communicative and cranky about being confined, but she's in the ICU. Trying not to be panicked yet. My brother says stay put. I hope it works out. Just when everything was fine healthwise for the rest of us. All of you take care, OK?
In other news, no snow here, just freezing rain. It's a good thing I took my own (and everyone else's) advice and left all the suede stuff back home.
I can't concentrate...
